Arval has sold its 1,000th vehicle in the UK through e-commerce platform MotorTrade, which it uses to promote used vehicles directly to professional car dealers.
MotorTrade has been active in the UK for just over a year. It is a one-of-a-kind website which facilitates vehicle sales 24-hours a day, seven days a week, through two purchasing methods: immediate sale at a fixed price, or online bidding.
Across the Arval Group, thousands of vehicles are sold through the platform every month to automotive professionals.
Through MotorTrade, Arval offers a range of used vehicles, from 24 to 60 months old, covering all makes, all categories (passenger or light commercial vehicles) and all engine types (petrol, diesel and hybrid).
The vehicle that allowed Arval to hit this milestone in the UK was a Volkswagen Golf MK6 purchased by Car Giant. To recognise this achievement, Arval has offered the buyer free delivery of the vehicle and will be presenting them with a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

“The commission-free access that it gives to car dealers and broad range of used vehicles available is proving to be attractive and we expect this channel to continue to grow in the UK over the coming years.”
