Suzuki GB has announced a new partnership with Sky Sports. Launching a six week campaign, Suzuki and Sky Sports have produced a series of bespoke 30-second TV airings titled “The New Swift Sport Boot Camp”.

The series features ‘Soccer AM’s’ Tubes and ‘Take it like a fan’s Fenners go head-to-head in two Swift Sports as they perform a variety of football based training exercises including a slalom race, penalty shoot outs and keepy-uppys. The first in the series will air on 28 January 2012 on Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2 and SkyNews.

The all new Swift Sport went on sale on 16th January 2012, priced at £13,499. Its new Euro 5 1.6-litre 136hp VVT engine offers improved torque together with 10 per cent lower combined fuel consumption figures of 44.1mpg. Exhaust emissions are now 10 per cent lower than the previous Swift Sport model at 147g/km and it has a maximum speed of 121mph, achieving 0-62mph in 8.7 seconds. The Swift Sport was awarded the ‘Best Buy’ accolade at the prestigious 2012 What Car? Magazine awards this month where judges described the car as “a brilliant junior hot hatch which is at home on all kinds of roads thanks to its strong grip, tight body control and accurate steering”.
