Continental launches new winter tyre

Continental has launched its latest winter tyre, the ContiWinterContact TS850 suitable for a wide range of cars from compact, to mid size.

The ContiWinterContact TS850 is the latest generation winter tyre, building upon the success of its predecessor the ContiWinterContact TS830, this latest addition offers improved grip as well as shorter braking distances in the wet, enhanced handling, extended mileage and a further reduction in rolling resistance.

With the company selling a total of 21 million winter tyres in 2011, the ContiWinterContact TS850 continues to raise the benchmark set by its predecessor and is currently available in 15-16” rim sizes.
