Optimum Fleet strengthens its sales team

Optimum Fleet has announced the appointment of Nick Jones as head of fleet sales.  

He joins following a year of growth for Optimum Fleet and will lead the drive for continued expansion of their fleet management service across the UK and Europe. 

Jones joins the business from Lex Autolease where he was a principal consultant.  He is a qualified accountant with extensive fleet experience having previously worked for GE Capital Fleet Services and HSBC Vehicle Finance. 

David Griffiths, director of operations at Optimum Fleet, said: “Nick is joining Optimum Fleet at an opportune time as we increase our market presence and brand awareness. 

“We have recently secured the fleet management for several well-known brands within facilities management and sports sectors including GSH and Everton FC and look forward to bringing on new clients under Nick’s stewardship. 

“Nick brings a wealth of strategic fleet expertise to Optimum Fleet having previously worked for some of the UK’s largest leasing companies.  This new role will support the development of our fleet management service and bring innovative solutions to our clients.”

“Our independence allows us to source suppliers who best fit our clients’ needs. The opportunities for growth are significant and I am looking forward to being core to the next stage of Optimum’s development.”
