Nationwide has expanded its partnership with Hastings Direct by becoming its sole supplier for all vehicle insurance claims repairs. Previously, Nationwide was one of two companies providing the service. Nationwide Network Services, the accident management division of Nationwide, will now deal with all of Hastings Direct’s at-fault accident repair claims, repair management, repair estimate verification and salvage total loss valuations. This nearly doubles the size of the contract and Nationwide expects to complete over 9,000 repairs a year.
The move follows Hastings Direct’s improvement of its interactive voice recognition system to enable customers to access information on their vehicle repairs more quickly through one supplier.
