New UK Peugeot iOn offer announced

Peugeot UK has announced changes to its Electric Vehicle (EV) Sales programme, with an on-the-road price reduction to £21,216 (after the Government’s £5,000 Plug-in Car Grant), a monthly rental from £249 per month over a 3-year term and comprehensive coverage across the country through 23 dedicated EV Specialist Peugeot dealerships.

Peugeot’s EV range will grow at the beginning of 2013 with the introduction of a new electric Partner van, which will qualify for the recently announced extension to the Government’s EV grant, with a maximum of £8,000 support towards the purchase price of electric commercial vehicles.

Phil Robson, Peugeot UK’s fleet and used car director, commented: “2011 marked a return of EVs for Peugeot in the UK. We want to continue to develop our EV strategy as the technology becomes more accepted by consumers and the charging infrastructure continues to develop. Peugeot has been at the forefront of the EV market with iOn and this latest development is a key part in our low CO2 strategy.”
