Fleet management specialist Fleet Logistics has restructured its senior management team and made two new appointments at its UK offices.

Head of UK operations Martin Hill now adds responsibility for client implementation across Europe to his UK operations role, leading a seven strong team of implementation and support managers responsible for the correct implementation of fleet policy for major international fleet clients.

Hill, who joined the company from contract hire and leasing supplier Lex Autolease, where he was head of corporate customer services, remains part of the extended senior management team, reporting to chief executive Peter Soliman.

In the UK, Hill is responsible for a fleet of around 15,000 vehicles, part of Fleet Logistics’ pan European managed fleet operation of around 100,000 vehicles which specialises in providing fleet management services to national and multi-national fleets.

“A key element of my new, wider pan European role will be to ensure we implement major international clients in a timely and efficient manner and continue to meet or exceed their expectations,” he said.

At the same time, international account manager Mike Greatrex has been appointed to the new role of group director of account management. Greatrex joined Fleet Logistics in 2001 from the Bank of Scotland Group, where he was an account manager for Godfrey Davis Contract Hire.

In his new role, Greatrex will be responsible for the management of a team of 15 local and international account managers across Europe and for ensuring the delivery of services to clients to expected and agreed standards.

He will also aim to recognise and identify new opportunities within existing client groups in new and existing markets and help the business evolve its service offering to cater for these requirements.

“I’m really looking forward to the challenge of my new role especially as we have a great team of account managers operating throughout Europe,” he said.

In the first of the two new appointments at Fleet Logistics UK, highly experienced Paul Gregory has joined the business as operations manager, reporting to Hill, and is responsible for three customer service teams of around 35 staff in total.

Formerly customer services manager at Lombard Vehicle Management, a company he worked with for over 30 years, Gregory assumes overall responsibility for all aspects of new vehicle ordering and TCO optimisation for Fleet Logistics clients, including the use of the company’s acclaimed multi-bidding solution which selects the best prices for fleet clients from a panel of leasing suppliers.

The second new appointment is that of Angela Heneghan who joins the UK team as strategic accounts manager, responsible for a select portfolio of fleet customers.

Previously with Lex Autolease for five years where she was latterly a corporate relationship manager, Heneghan is responsible for managing all cradle-to-grave fleet services for her designated accounts.
