Morrison Utility Services and Amey acheive Van Excellence

Leading civil engineering businesses Morrison Utility Services and Amey have successfully achieved accreditation under the FTA's Van Excellence scheme.

They join the 25 other operators that have successfully demonstrated that their fleet management and compliance systems can meet the demanding standards of the Code of Van Excellence, the voluntary code of practice for van fleet operators.

Vehicle and fleet management service provider LeasePlan has also joined Van Excellence as a recognised partner of the scheme.

Partners promote the Code of Van Excellence amongst their customers and encourage its standards to be adopted and followed throughout the light commercial vehicle sector.

Van Excellence was awarded the Best New Service Award at the 2012 Fleet News Awards. There are now 27 accredited operators, with a further 80 having expressed interest or undergoing accreditation. The total number of vehicles operated is 137,500.
