Tusker has won the award for Business of the Year 2012 at the Regional Business Excellence Awards for the products and services it provides to its fleet customers.

The awards covered several categories including small, medium and large businesses of the year, international business of the year, plus the most coveted award of the evening where all finalists from each category were automatically entered; Business of the Year 2012.

Marios Brooks, Partner at accountants BDO and chairman of the Business Excellence Awards, said: “As judges we felt that 2011 has been a truly transformational year in Tusker’s drive to achieve their strategic aspirations.

“Their turnover rose from £22million to £37million in 2011 and their order book was up by well over 200%. By securing a key industry grandee as non executive chairman last summer to add to their experienced management team, also gave them a very strong platform to continue the robust growth and success that the company is currently achieving”.
