Valeo Service UK has appointed Matthew Robinson as managing director. He succeeds Peter Henry, who takes up the position of general manager at Valeo Service USA, based in Hampton, Virginia.

Following 11 years working at KYB, the world’s largest manufacturer of shock absorbers, Robinson brings to Valeo a wealth of experience and expertise in the automotive sector.

He said: “For garages and distributors, Valeo supplies an excellent range of services, including training, a technical helpline, sales supports, logistics assistance and diagnostic tools, in addition to its high performing and long lasting portfolio of automotive parts.

“It is a privilege to become a part of such a prestigious brand, and I look forward to developing Valeo in exciting and dynamic new ways.”

Valeo’s extensive range for the commercial vehicle market includes clutch kits, thermal, lighting, braking, wiping, electrical, air quality and security systems, for a variety of makes and models.
