Trinity Mirror renews five year contract with CEVA

CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, has announced that it has renewed a five year multi-million euro contract to provide delivery services for one of the UK’s largest newspaper publishers, Trinity Mirror.

Under the continued agreement, which has been running for the past 10 years, CEVA will make around 33,000 deliveries of the Daily Mirror and Sunday Mirror to Trinity Mirror’s wholesaler network each year.

John Howard, circulation director for Nationals at Trinity Mirror, said: “The high levels of service we have received from CEVA over the past 10 years and the strong operational performance were major factors in our decision.

“We have been particularly impressed with the levels of vehicle utilization achieved and look forward to this continuing under this latest agreement.”

The company’s 24/7 operation provides time sensitive primary distribution services such as on site post-press management services, product preparation and dispatch management, in addition to collection management and magazine break bulk services.
