Pennine Magpie chooses Cardinus for fleet safety programme

Pennine Magpie Limited has chosen Cardinus Risk Management and insurance company Wilby to supply a driving at work policy and company handbook for its fleet safety programme.

Pennine Magpie is based at the Calderdale Business Park, Halifax. Its aim is to improve the lives of people who have learning difficulties by providing them with the skills to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

Marcus Noble, managing director – Fleet at Cardinus Risk Management, said: “We’re delighted to help Pennine Magpie improve the culture of its corporate safety.

“The handbook will help raise awareness amongst drivers of the risks associated with driving. And the robust policy, in association with the handbook, will help towards improving the health and safety and well-being of the drivers and other road users.”

Cardinus Risk Management has been producing and supplying risk management services since 1995. Its customers include many of the world’s leading organisations, a large number of small and medium sized organisations and central government departments.

The Cardinus approach to effective management of occupational road risk is to provide an end-to-end service incorporating software, auditing, consultancy and face-to-face training as required.
