Whitefield Distribution announces vehicle design competition winner

Whitefield Distribution, whose vehicles have been supplied by Northgate Vehicle Hire for more than 10 years, has announced the winner of its North East wide competition to find the most creative van livery design for the company’s limited edition Olympic vehicle.

Running across Whitefield’s three depots in Newcastle, Kent and Heywood, 50 employees took part in the competition, but the overall winner was crowned due to the creativity and attention to detail of the vehicle design.

National colours, the inclusion of the British flag and a patriotic slogan ‘Supporting Our Nation’ impressed the judging panel that felt it captured the spirit of the nation perfectly and helped Michael Landreth from the Newcastle depot claim the top prize.

Landreth will be driving his limited edition vehicle until it is de-commissioned after three years and Whitefield Distribution will also be producing two more liveried vehicles with the same design to run out of the Heywood and Kent depots.
