CD Auction Group has been awarded preferred supplier status for employee and affinity sales for BT Fleet.

The move means BT employees, former employees and other eligible buyers will be able to purchase ex-BT Fleet vehicles using CD Auction Group's online sales platform.

The affinity sales scheme will operate through a specific website created by CD Auction Group where eligible buyers will be able to view pre-selected vehicles for sale.

Zenon Witkowski, head of vehicle sales for BT Fleet said: “This new online affinity sales scheme will offer an improved service to our employees, former employees and their friends and families.

“We have a long standing commercial relationship with CD Auction Group and we know their online systems offer a cost-effective and efficient way to make vehicles available for sale.

“At the same time, their refurbishment and delivery facilities mean we are offering one simple online purchase point to our affinity partners.”

Under the CD Auction Group online system, the pre-selected vehicles and descriptions will be available for purchase 24/7 and potential buyers will also, by arrangement, be able to view the vehicles at CD Auction Group's premises in Corby.

Roger Woodward, managing director of CD Auction Group, said: “Winning this business is a great vote of confidence in CD Auction Group and our ability to deliver a simple, effective online sales process.

“The new affinity scheme is great news for eligible BT employees, former employees and other partners because it will be quicker, simpler and offer them a wider range of vehicles for viewing at one online site. It represents a natural extension of the CD Auction Group online platform and one that we intend to explore further in the future.”
