FTA Transport Manager seminar dates announced

FTA's autumn series of Transport Manager seminars will be on the road throughout the UK from September to November, keeping delegates up to speed with the latest legislation and enforcement changes.

A prominent feature of the seminars this year is a key address by the local Traffic Commissioner at each venue.

Speaking ahead of the event the Senior traffic commissioner Beverley Bell said: "Traffic Commissioners are pleased to have the opportunity to address transport managers directly through the forthcoming FTA seminars.

"Last year, EU regulations gave TCs the power to take action and ensure that people in this position are fully accountable to their professional responsibilities.

"Commissioners welcome every opportunity to advise transport managers about meeting the good repute requirements and to explain how we are committed to ensure there is a level playing field for the profession".
