Accident management company Easi-Drive is launching a new website to support its community giving fund, 'wheelsforgood'.

Set up by Easi-Drive director Simon Bellamy, wheelsforgood aims to give something back to the community in which the business operates by helping out worthy causes related to wheels, transport or the motor industry.

The website, which goes live today (Friday, September 28), follows an increase in applications to the fund, which has been running for over three years, and aims to make it easier for new causes to apply, as well as showcasing the causes the fund has helped so far.

Bellamy said: “The charities that wheelsforgood has helped so far are incredibly varied, from helping individuals fund new wheelchairs to helping pensioners afford transport to a craft convention.

“We are constantly looking for new causes and wheelsforgood is committed to giving away £40k this year so we’re encouraging anyone who could use our help to apply.

“The new website will allow people to see the charities we have worked with in the past and apply easily themselves. We’re looking forward to seeing what new applications come in and the ways in which we’ll be helping out in the future.”
