Intelligent Energy awarded Barclays Social Innovation Award

Intelligent Energy, the global power technology company, has been awarded the Barclays Social Innovation Award by The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 for its efforts in power efficiency. Intelligent Energy delivers clean energy technology for the global consumer electronics, automotive and stationary power markets.

Chief executive Dr Henri Winand said: “It’s great to once again be recognised in The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100.  In particular, to be awarded the Barclays Social Innovation Award is a real achievement. We are proud of our achievements in delivering cost effective and efficient energy to high growth regions such as India and Africa and in working with our partners to make fuel cells a commercial reality.”

Intelligent Energy climbed 28 places to 27th in this years’ Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100.

The Tech Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private tech, media and telecoms (TMT) companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years, and is published in The Sunday Times. It is sponsored by Hiscox and Barclays, and compiled by Fast Track, the Oxford-based networking events and research company.
