Grosvenor Leasing has launched a package of measures to help companies avoid rising vehicle costs this winter.

The 'WinterDrive’ package offers a three-month discount for companies using Grosvenor’s accident management service for the first time, fast-track access and account set up for the short-term rental of off-road/4x4 vehicles, a free advice hotline offering guidance on items such as vehicle checks, winter tyres and safe driving, plus a free winter driving guide (pictured) which can be sent to all drivers.

Stuart Menzies, commercial director at Grosvenor Leasin, said: “Most companies operating fleets of vehicles bemoan the rising costs during the winter months.

“The poor weather and shorter daytime hours bring about more accidents, a rise in breakdowns and roadside call outs, and often a downturn in productivity if drivers cannot travel.

“Most problems, and costs, are caused by vehicles not being checked and prepared for the cold weather, poor driving in challenging conditions, and a lack of planning for when the ice and snow sets in.

“Our new WinterDrive package offers proactive support to fleet operators, and is designed to save money, reduce time off road and make winter a far less stressful period for fleet managers.”
