Budget Rent-a-Car launches premium rental service

Budget Rent-a-Car has launched Budget Premier, a premium service designed in response to requests from corporate customers seeking a cost effective alternative.

It forms part of a wider strategic step from across the business to differentiate the brand and drive loyalty from a broader range of customers.

The new service is aimed to be of particular interest to the UK’s small business organisations, which as a result of the current economic climate, place particular emphasis on value. Budget Premier provides SMEs with a selection of premium vehicles from the Executive range, such as the Mercedes S Class 3.0 or Jaguar XF 2.2.

Customers can also choose from two other categories - Sports and 4X4 SUV. Both offer the latest models from a range of manufacturers, including the Mercedes C250, Volkswagen Scirocco, Land Rover Discovery and Audi A5 Cabriolet.

All vehicles are fitted with satellite navigation and automatic transmission at no extra cost and are available to hire at key business locations across the UK including Central London, Heathrow Airport, Central Manchester, Manchester Airport and Scotland.

Kaye Ceille, managing director, Budget UK, comments: “Understanding our customers is at the heart of our business and drives everything we do. We wanted to provide a more cost efficient alternative to other premium services, but retain the quality and excellence our customers expect from Budget. With Budget Premier, we have done just that.”
