Europcar is adding the new Golf VII - which promises more space, improved fuel efficiency and greater power generation - to its fleet.

Ken McCall, managing director of Europcar UK Group, said: “The VW Golf is a perennial favourite among motorists and I am sure that the seventh generation Golf will be a popular addition to the Europcar fleet.

“The Golf VII delivers new levels of comfort, combined with all the technology, styling and efficiency modern business and leisure drivers expect of the VW brand.

“And reflecting the huge popularity of this marque, Europcar will have both the Golf VII SE and S models on fleet by the end of March.”

The new Golf VII SE model features include lane keeping and emergency urban braking technology. It also has a range of in-car technology, such as a colour touch-screen infotainment system as standard, automatic distance control, multiple impact brake activation and electronic parking brake with auto-hold.

Other features include DAB digital radio, USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
