BT Fleet organised one of the strangest collection of vehicles ever to help Miranda Hart raise over £1.1m in five days for Comic Relief.

A team of BT volunteers joined Miranda Hart on her ‘Mad March’, covering 360 miles through Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Oxford and London to look after a special Red-Nose Renault Twizzy, a fleet of support vehicles and a custom built Vannel (Kennel Van).

BT Fleet volunteers could be found drumming up donations and recruiting members of the public for each challenge by day; then by night they were managing the vehicle logistics, recharging the Twizzy at one of their local garages and generally keeping the show on the road.

Stephen Meadows, Red Nose Day challenges manager for Comic Relief said: “BT Fleet has once again proved themselves as leaders in vehicle supply and management.

“Our brief was open but demanding and the team exceeded all of our expectations in a tight timeframe.”
