As part of the company's commitment to enhancing its overall legal compliance and road risk management programme, London-based company trg Logistics has appointed Lee Williamson to the newly created position of road risk manager based out of the company’s new head office in Epsom.

Reporting directly to trg’s Logistics director Andy Frost, Williamson will be responsible for implementing a company-wide framework that minimises occupational road risk in all divisions of the company.

Williamson originally joined trg Logistics in August 2012 in the role of contracts manager handling one of the company’s long-term contract accounts, and promotion to the new position of road risk manager comes at a time when trg Logistics is rapidly expanding its operations across all its four divisions.

“These are exciting times for trg as a company goes from strength to strength, and it is a great opportunity for Lee to be responsible for developing this programme for road risk as an enhancement to our health and safety environment,” said Frost.

“The road risk footprint runs across the whole trg business, not just our own assets, it also includes agency drivers and all employees representing trg, such as company car drivers and head office staff.”

Prior to joining trg, Williamson worked for GreenRoad Technologies for three years latterly as account and implementation manager handling driver behaviour and telematics business.
