Northgate appoints four national new business development managers

Northgate has appointed Mike Strong, Steve Fay, Michelle Hughes and Neil Skellam as national new business development managers as part of its 2013 business growth strategy.

The four new recruits join Northgate as the vehicle hire provider undertakes a major repositioning of its offering.

They will be tasked with communicating Northgate’s complete fleet management solution offering to customers, both old and new, across the UK. 

Mike Strong, who previously worked as an interim sales consultant and as business development manager for recognised recruitment companies, Impellam Group Plc and Carlisle Staffing Ltd, brings a wealth of experience in strategic business development to the role. 

Joining Strong and the team is Steve Fay, whose 15 years’ experience in business development with companies, such as Wella and Kent Pharmaceuticals, puts him in a good position help support and drive Northgate’s 2013 business strategy.

Previously working as national business development manager for corporate clothing company, Kwintet, Michelle Hughes also joins Northgate. She has considerable knowledge in fine-tuning corporate strategic development, following her work on large-scale contracts and solution propositions for blue chip companies in the health care industry.

Applying experience gained over the past eight years working as a sales professional for software solutions provider, Fujitsu, Neil Skellam completes the new team of four. His background in business development for IT solutions will further help Northgate drive awareness of its complete fleet management solution across a number of UK markets.
