Venson Automotive Solutions has joined vehicle environmental tuning and ECU remapping specialist, Viezu Technologies, to help light commercial vehicle fleets meet their own environmental and cost reduction targets.

Through this new collaboration, Venson customers will benefit from Viezu’s expertise in remapping cars and vans by optimising the efficiency of a vehicle according to the way it will be driven. This marks part of Venson’s ongoing commitment to providing a tailor made approach to fleet management.

Viezu’s economy tuning is developed in-house on its 3,000bhp rolling road. It also has a Euro5 emission certified research and development centre in Bromsgrove. By limiting torque and speed, Viezu delivers reduced fuel costs to a range of fleet customers. The benefits of remapping also include reduced driver unfair wear and tear on vehicle components, offering significant savings for commercial vehicle fleets.

Commercial director of Venson Automotive Solutions, Carl Stephens, said: “We understand the challenges facing our customers, with many unable to simply upgrade their fleet to benefit from the latest advances in cutting fuel consumption and emissions. Viezu can bring improvements to existing fleet vehicles, by tuning the engine to improve performance and increase fuel efficiency and the emissions.

“We don’t operate a one-size-fits-all approach to fleet management, but instead listen to the individual needs of our customers. This collaboration with Viezu allows us to provide a bespoke service, offering economy tuning, designed to reduce operating costs.”

CEO of Viezu Technologies, Paul Busby, said: “Venson is a major player in the commercial vehicle fleet management market, making this a key partnership for us, as we continue to change the reputation of engine remapping. Our modifications are guaranteed and insured by RSA, ensuring we always work within the tolerances of the vehicle. By making subtle changes, we can increase the efficiency of commercial vehicles, helping Venson deliver real benefits to its customers.”
