Fleet Alliance voted one of the best places to work in UK

Leasing and fleet management specialist Fleet Alliance is one of the best places to work in the UK, a survey by the independent Great Place to Work Institute has found.

Fleet Alliance, which operates nationally from a head office in Glasgow, finished fifth out of the top 25 of the best places to work in the UK, after 97% of its staff voted it a ‘Great Place to Work’.

The company recently won the award for the Best Company to Work at in Scotland, also presided over by the Great Place to Work Institute.

In the final, the company was competing against a line-up of household and High Street names including Coca Cola, eBay, McDonalds, Microsoft and IKEA.

Fleet Alliance managing director, Martin Brown, said: “The Institute rates a great workplace as one where employees trust the people they work for, have pride in the work they do, and enjoy the people they work with. So it is extremely gratifying, based on those criteria, to come in the top 25.

“We have had great results in the last 12 months. In 2012, 96% of our orders were delivered successfully, with 100% customer satisfaction. This would not happen without a fully motivated, happy and engaged team of people."
