Burnt Tree’s Contract Hire team continues to grow

Burnt Tree has announced a new addition to the growing sales team with the appointment of Maurice Wilson as contract hire business development manager.

Working directly under the leadership of contract hire director Mark Howell, Wilson will be predominantly covering the Midlands area.

Wilson has a proven long-standing pedigree within the commercial vehicle and trailer industry over 18 years and joins Burnt Tree after a long spell at Ryder, where he was initially business development manager for HillHire Ryder for over 10 years and recently was Ryder’s national accounts manager.

Prior to HillHire Ryder, Wilson worked for Transamerica in various sales roles.

Howell said: “Maurice brings a wealth of relevant experience to our contract hire operation and is now part of a professional team that is continuing to grow, with more experienced staff scheduled to join the company over the next few months.

“These are exciting times for Burnt Tree with its ambitious plans in place to substantially increase its presence in the UK commercial vehicle contract hire sector.”
