Enterprise Rent-a-Car has raised more than £8,000 for automotive industry charity BEN by holding a golf competition.

The Enterprise Golf Day was held at a prestigious Warwickshire course in August with Murley Nissan as its main sponsor.

Chris Buckley, group development and training manager at Enterprise Rent-a-Car, said: "Thanks to sponsorships, a raffle and fantastic auction we are delighted to have been able to raise so much money for BEN through our new venture.

"Well done to the Autosmart team, our overall winners and all those who picked up individual honours. I look forward to welcoming everyone back next year."

Kirsten Galvin, marketing manager at BEN, said: "We are fortunate to be able to number Enterprise Rent-a-Car amongst our closest supporting partners in the automotive industry.

"The impact of donations such as this from their Golf Day, in addition to other activities they undertake and the corporate volunteer days the commit to, enable us to maintain the high levels of support we are able to provide our industry colleagues in times of need and to ensure BEN stays at the forefront of the minds of their staff in case they need our support in the future."
