Days Contract Hire has been awarded four public sector preferred supplier contracts, one of which will see it supply vehicles to the London Fire Brigade’s 200 strong fleet.
The deal with the UK’s busiest fire and rescue service is the latest success of a tender process carried out by Sector Treasury Services, the leasing advisory organisation.
In addition, Days Contract Hire has also become preferred suppliers for Slough Borough County Council, North Yorkshire County Council and the City and County of Swansea with agreements to supply a wide range of vehicles.
The Swansea based fleet solutions company has been appointed to a panel for the provision of leased and short term hire vehicles to the fire and rescue service, London Fire Brigade, which comprises of 7,000 staff, further demonstrating the need for its bespoke consultancy service in the public sector.
The company’s consultancy service takes into account how the vehicle will be used for business but also how the driver will use the vehicle for personal use along with a range of other factors including CO2 emissions, Benefit-in-Kind Taxation, First-Year Allowances and fuel economy.
