Grosvenor Leasing is aiming to provide an extended service capability and increased vehicle availability to its daily rental customers by adopting the 1link Hire Network e-commerce platform.

Through its rental division, Grosvenor Rental Management, it will be using the epyx product to comprehensively manage all rentals across a wider range of national rental suppliers, also allowing much faster booking.

A number of back office gains will also be made including an improved invoicing process made possible by the way in which 1link Hire Network automatically validates an invoice on receipt from the respective supplier. This process also leads to 1link Hire Network generating fully checked  customer invoices.

Andy Reed, commercial director at Grosvenor Leasing, explained: “Providing a fast, efficient and cost effective rental service is an important part of our customer offering for fleets running cars, vans and even 4x4s for specialist off-road requirements.

“Adopting 1link Hire Network is helping us to improve that offering in the key areas of pricing, availability and efficiency.”

Additionally, Grosvenor will be taking advantage of the seamless link from 1link Hire Network to 1link Service Network.

Grosvenor have used 1link Service Network to manage service and maintenance for a number of years and by linking it to 1link Hire Network, they will look to drive down average length of hires when replacing vehicles off road.

David Wallace, sales and business development director at epyx, said: “1link Hire Network is having a strong year for new deals and we are pleased to welcome Grosvenor as a customer.

“Through our continued product enhancement, epyx look forward to ensuring that they have the best tools to support the comprehensive delivery of short and long term rentals.”
