Paul Russell appointed at AMT Specialist Cars

Paul Russell has been appointed as General Manager of AMT Specialist Cars. 

Russell joins to spearhead the division’s strategy for growth.  Previously with Avis Rent a Car UK & Nexus Vehicle Management, he brings a wealth of industry knowledge to lead the development of this sector of the Group.

Russell said: “This is a very exciting time to join this dynamic Group of companies and I see the Specialist Car division as being a fundamental contributor to the overall growth. I am delighted to be given the opportunity to lead AMT Specialist Cars and look forward to working with the team to broaden our service offering, to deliver future growth and drive performance and service to new heights”.

The development of AMT Specialist Cars will complete the ambition of the Group by complimenting the existing  leasing and rental proposition and enabling a total mobility solution offering to both the corporate and leisure markets”.

The acquisition and development of the Group’s new 50,000 square foot headquarters in Leeds, to house the rental, leasing and specialist car divisions, is well under way and due for completion by March 2015.

Neil McGawley, group managing director said: “Paul is a tremendous addition to the Groups Management team and will lead on the development of our Specialist Car division. I see this division as a major contributor to our already comprehensive mobility solution offering and will add still further value for our customers”.
