Qstarz to launch device to improve driver behaviour

GPS provider Qstarz is launching Eco Star, an in-vehicle device which prompts drivers to improve their driving habits through a screen alert, LED alert and beep alert.

Eco Star, which will be available from February 28, warns drivers when they demonstrate unsafe driving such as sharp turn, harsh brake, rapid acceleration or unsteady speed.

Qstarz suggests the benefits of Eco Star are higher fuel economy and savings on the monthly fuel bill and vehicle maintenance cost and costs of accidents, as well as a reduction in CO2 emissions.
