Aston Barclay Prees Heath re-launches after refurbishment

Aston Barclay Prees Heath, the auction Group’s Shropshire-based vehicle remarketing centre, is to re-launch its award winning auction centre following completion of a £375k investment and refurbishment programme.

The car auction has been a feature in the town of Whitchurch for over 50 years, the last 20 of which have been as part of family owned national car auction Group, Aston Barclay.

Prees Heath’s success has led to sustained growth within the local area with the number of employees rising from 16 to 30, an 87% increase, in the past five years alone.

The latest round of investment includes a complete redevelopment of the Auction Halls including, the addition of new ‘centre stage’ interfaces to Aston Barclay Live, refurbishment of undercover viewing areas and the addition of new buyer lounges and viewing galleries for vendors.

The centre will be officially re-launched on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, from 10am with a special sale offering up to 300 cars on behalf of leading Fleet & Leasing Companies including Lex Autolease, Alphabet, Ogilvie, Leasedrive, LeasePlan and PSA Finance with the added benefit of spot prizes, incentives on delivery and complimentary food.
