Chris Thornton appointed managing director of Auto Windscreens

Chris Thornton has joined Auto Windscreens as managing director, bringing with him 12 years’ board-level experience.

Thornton will drive forward Auto Windscreens’ operations and strengthen its core focus on growth, total customer satisfaction and innovation.

Cambridge-educated Thorton was previously managing director at logistics services business FTA Business Services.

From 2001 to 2006, he held the position of business development director at Autoglass.

Prior to Autoglass, he was commercial director at RAC/Lex Autocentres and corporate development manager at Lex Service PLC.

He holds an MEng in Manufacturing Engineering and a BA in Engineering, both from Cambridge, along with an ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Finance.
