Tracey Green appointment at iVendi

Tracey Green has been appointed to the newly created role of vice president of product at dealer online technology specialist iVendi.

Her areas of responsibility will include the strategy and delivery of iVendi’s online platform to support the next generation of web-based vehicle retailing solutions.

Green has spent the last five years at Trader Media as head of product for the Dealer Portal and Intelligence suite of tools.

Previously, she was involved in delivering supply chain order management and direct despatch portals for retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s Littlewoods, JD Williams, ToysRus and Mothercare,

She said: “I am very excited to be joining iVendi at this time and helping them pursue their overall strategy.

“In the same way that there has been a major shift in recent years to transacting motor insurance and personal loans online instead of using traditional PoS brokers and banks, we plan to make it easier for consumers to buy and dealers to sell vehicles online by web enabling the showroom.”

iVendi director James Tew said: “We will be expanding rapidly during 2014 and are embarking on a major recruitment drive. Tracey is one of the first signs of this development and we are very pleased to have her on board here at iVendi.”
