LeasePlan has appointed Matt Dyer as managing director, following the departure of David Brennan.

Dyer has been commercial director for more four years and was appointed following an intensive selection process. His appointment will be effective immediately.

In his new role he will head up LeasePlan UK’s business, working closely with the leadership team at LeasePlan Corporation to continue strong strategic growth across the business. The company currently operates 136,000 fleet vehicles in the UK, including 37,000 commercial vehicles.

Dyer has been with LeasePlan for more than18 years. In this time, he has worked for LeasePlan UK, LeasePlan Corporation and LeasePlan International, where he was managing director until late 2009.

Kevin McNally, regional senior vice president - Northern Europe and the Americas at LeasePlan, said: “Matt excelled in his previous roles with the organisation, and following a period of strong performance, we are confident that he will lead LeasePlan UK to new heights.”
