Manheim launches fantasy football league

Fleet managers who fancy themselves as the next Hodgson, Scolari or Klinsmann have until 9pm today to join Manheim’s 2014 fantasy football league

The challenge is free to join and successful football managers will be in with a chance of receiving VIP tickets to a Barclays Premier League game, while the overall leader at the end of the contest will win £1,000 of Thomas Cook holiday vouchers.

With a budget of £60m to spend, participants can build a team from all participating World Cup players. Points will be scored for elements such as appearance, being in the starting eleven, winning the match, assisting and scoring goals, clean sheets for defenders and many more.

James Krueger, buyer marketing manager at Manheim, said: “Back by popular demand, the Manheim fantasy football league is a great way for our buyers, vendors, retail customers and employees to get involved in a fun challenge and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes."

Manheim will be updating participants on social media such as Facebook and Twitter (#ManheimFooty2014).
