Fulcrum Automotive signs up to 1link Hire Network

Fleet daily rental specialist Fulcrum Automotive Solutions has signed up to use Epyx’s 1link Hire Network vehicle rental e-commerce platform.

The Leicester-based company acts as a rental provider to fleets by providing a choice of suppliers to meet a rental need and charges a transaction fee.

Director Russell Allen explained: “We provide a single point rental solution for fleets and act as a vehicle sourcing partner or a full rental managing partner with a very transparent pricing model, allowing customers to benefit from pass-through pricing direct from suppliers and thereby reducing their overall costs.

“Because of our structure, we expect 1link Hire Network to work very well for us, providing a fast, easy and accurate way to work online with both suppliers and customers, effectively bring them together in a transparent and mutually beneficial manner.”

Fulcrum was founded in 2011 by a team with extensive experience in the rental industry and provides vehicles ranging from small cars through to HGVs and specialist plant.

Marc Lees, business development manager at Epyx, said: “Fulcrum provides a new and innovative approach to meeting fleet daily rental needs and we are looking forward to working with them closely in the future.”
