Bridle buys Industrial Vehicle Leasing

Bridle Vehicle Leasing has announced the acquisition of Industrial Vehicle Leasing (IVL).

Bridle has moved quickly to add to their recent agreement with Compass Contract Hire, which sees their vehicle fleet size exceed 4,500 vehicles.

Current IVL directors John Crombie and Peter Lague will remain and provide on-going support and advice.

They bring with them extensive knowledge in the fleet management arena where the company already fully fleet manage over 200 vehicles, something Bridle are keen to learn from and replicate and offer own clients.

Managing director of Bridle Stewart Donald said: “The addition of IVL to Bridle’s portfolio goes to further reinforce our commitment to this division of our business, we can now offer our clients a true ‘one stop’ facility for all our their vehicle needs, covering amongst other things – insurance, vehicle supply and finance, fuel cards and fleet management, driver support and training.”

Crombie added: “We are thrilled to become part of the Bridle group and by combining resources we see our businesses becoming market leaders in the provision of fleet management and contract hire.”
