Blue light fleet show returns to Telford

The Emergency Fleet Exhibition, organised by the National Association of Police Fleet Managers (NAPFM), returns to Telford next month.

Now in its 42nd year the Emergency Fleet Exhibition is an established annual event which brings together key fleet managers from a membership which accounts for a fleet size of more than 44,000 vehicles, deemed to be the 10th largest in the UK.

It showcases fleet-related vehicles and equipment for all the emergency sectors and the 2015 exhibition will feature more than 100 key suppliers showcasing vehicles, equipment and technology used by the emergency service and rescue organisations on a daily basis.

Ten of the major vehicle manufacturers of which eight have been awarded the CCS/NAPFM Framework Blue Light lots 7, 8 and 9 will be showcasing current vehicles and those of the future which will make it the essential event for anyone involved with emergency fleet.

The event remains an invitation-only exhibition for exhibitors, delegates and visitors and is widely recognised by the motor industry as one of the best emergency service transport shows in Europe.

Manufacturers and suppliers at the event also use it to network, not only with delegates and visitors but also with other exhibitors to share ideas and opportunities.

The delegate programme features a broad spectrum of speakers discussing current topics such as collaboration, national road policing, vehicle disposal and low carbon fleets.

Key meetings and update sessions will take place throughout the event, with the Blue Light Approved Vehicle Manufacturers on Monday, June 8, Crown Commercial Services and the Home Office on Tuesday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 10, and The National Strategic Ambulance Fleet Group on Wednesday, June 10, along with a number of smaller supplier meetings throughout the two days.

The conference and exhibition takes place at The International Centre, Telford on Tuesday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 10.
