Avis Rent-a-Car to use Epyx’s 1link Disposal Network for defleeting to dealers

Avis Rent-a-Car is to start using Epyx’s 1link Disposal Network for delfeeting of its stock to dealers.

The vehicle rental specialist will be disposing of a wide range of models through the platform, providing dealers on the e-commerce platform with a new source of highly saleable stock.

David Goodyear, head of business development at Epyx, said: “We are very excited about this development. It is good news for buyers looking for high quality, late model stock.

“Avis has one of the largest rental fleets in the UK and having them on board 1link Disposal Network is excellent news for all parts of our dealer community.

“Whether you are a franchise dealer, independent or trader, there will almost certainly be something of interest to you in the model mix Avis are defleeting.”

As part of this new contract win, Epyx will act as agents for each 1link Disposal Network Avis related sale, collecting funds and arranging release of vehicles.

Goodyear added: “This arrangement makes buying through 1link Disposal Network even easier, ensuring every Avis sale will be a fast, smooth, and hassle-free transaction.”

Avis stock goes live on 1link Disposal Network during September.

1link Disposal Network is used by major fleets to manage online the selling of defleet stock to traders and dealers, through a wide variety of channels including online and auctions.
