Road safety charity Brake's annual Fleet Safety Awards are to return in September 2016.

Brake is inviting awards entries from fleet operators and suppliers; with the deadline for entering Friday May 20 2016.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, on Thursday 29 September 2016.

Last year’s winners represent a diverse range of organisations, including O’Donovan Waste Disposal, Skanska, and Transport for London.

Ellie Pearson, professional engagement manager at Brake, said: “The awards provide a wonderful opportunity for fleet operators and suppliers to gain recognition for all of their efforts in improving road safety. Building on the success of the 2015 event, we’d like to see the 2016 awards be our biggest and best yet, and we welcome entries from any safety-conscious organisation employing at-work drivers.”

The 2016 Awards include 11 categories, including the newly introduced Global Road Safety Award, for the organisation that has worked hardest to improve road safety for all road users in the communities it works in around the world.
