Road safety charity Brake has extended the deadline for entries to its UK Fleet Champions Awards to Friday, May 16.
The UK Fleet Champions Awards are open to any organisation that employs people who drive for work as well as those that support the fleet industry with products and services that help make the roads safer.
Brake is also inviting people to nominate their colleagues who have gone the extra mile to address work-related road risk in their organisation, or throughout their careers.
For the second year, Brake has partnered with Driving for Better Business to deliver the awards, which are free to enter.
It has also announced that Geotab will be the headline sponsor of the UK Fleet Champions Awards 2025.
Ross Moorlock, CEO of Brake, said: “We’d like to thank Geotab for joining us as this year’s headline sponsor of the awards, we’re delighted to have their support for this important event.
“We want to celebrate the organisations who are working hard to make a difference – through the safe and sustainable operation of work vehicles, and by championing safe driving practices.”
Oliver Holt, sales manager for the UK and Ireland at Geotab, added: “Fleet safety and driver well-being are key priorities for Geotab.
“Our research shows that many drivers still don’t always get the support they need, so it's important to recognise the fleet operators who are setting the standard.
“We’re proud to support Brake’s UK Fleet Champions Awards and look forward to meeting the nominees and award winners.”
There are 12 categories and these include Company Driver Safety, Public Sector Driver Safety, Dr Will Murray Award for Analysis and Action, Road Risk Manager of the Year and the Kevin Storey Award for Outstanding Commitment to Road Safety.

All entries will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges and the winners presented at a ceremony at New Dock Hall at the Royal Armouries in Leeds on Thursday, September 25.
