Enterprise Rent-A-Car has opened a new branch in Stroud, improving accessibility for Enterprise customers in more rural parts of Gloucestershire and creating four new jobs in the process.

The new branch has been converted from what was previously a dance studio, and ensures that Enterprise has a presence in the middle of Stroud and close to business customers and local residents. Previously, the closest Enterprise's branch had been in Cirencester.

Matthew Hooper, Enterprise area manager for Wiltshire, said: “We are delighted to be able to open this new branch in Stroud, which we hope will benefit not only town residents, but also people in the neighbouring parts of Gloucestershire.

“We only open a branch when we can see that there is enough demand and it will be sustainable, and we’ve seen more and more people wanting to rent cars recently.

“This branch opening has been organised with our customers in mind, as we aim to provide the best possible service to our existing patrons, while also improving access for people in rural areas who may previously have had difficulty in making use of our services.

“We are also pleased to be creating jobs in the area, and look forward to welcoming our new colleagues to the newly opened branch.”

The new site adds to Enterprise’s growing network of more than 400 locations throughout the UK.
