Addison Lee’s same day courier service grew by 17% in 2015.

Catherine Faiers, Addison Lee chief operating officer, said: ‘The growth is purely and simply down to the fact that our customers trust Addison Lee with their most important items because we won’t let them down. Customers know that we have the most professional team from the drivers to the dedicated control room.’

Addison Lee is increasing its partnerships with businesses that offer on the day or within the hour deliveries for customers. The courier service guarantees to pick up and deliver in London in under 60 minutes, benchmarking tests have shown that Addison Lee is the fastest service in London.

Faiers added: ‘The so-called fastest last mile deliveries are a real growth area for us.  Many customers are demanding items within the hour whether it’s from eBay or Burberry and trust us because we won’t let them down. This together with the growth in work from both corporate and consumer clients mean that we expect to double in size within two years.’

Addison Lee’s courier service has more than 17,000 clients including law firms, investment banks, fashion, television and technology clients. Much of the corporate work involves valuable or time sensitive items ranging from legal documents to television production cameras.

Most Addison Lee customers are booking jobs online and 98% of them are allotted by state of the art allocator technology which incorporates customer feedback.
