SSH Selfdrive has adopted Epyx’s 1link Hire Network e-commerce platform to help reach a new customer base of larger leasing companies and supply chain fleets.

The business, founded in 2005, has branches in Telford and Stafford, both covering a 25-mile radius, and operates a fleet of 400 vehicles including small to large cars, small vans to Luton box tail lifts, dropsides and tippers, and both nine-seaters and minibuses.

Paul Graham, director, said: “We already use Epyx’s 1link Service Network platform for service and maintenance and 1link Disposal Network for managing trade sales. They have made a real contribution to the productivity of our business.

“1link Hire Network will integrate with these, creating a range of efficiencies, and help us progress towards our long term aim of winning more business from larger leasing companies and supply chain fleets.

“With our current branches, we cover almost all of the West Midlands up to Manchester, and are perfectly positioned to service a very large potential customer base.”

Marc Lees, business development manager for Epyx’s 1link platforms, added: “Epyx has a longstanding relationship with SSH Selfdrive. They are an extremely well-run operation and we are very pleased to welcome them on board as part of the growing 1link Hire Network community.”

1link Hire Network is the market-leading rental platform in the fleet sector, adopted by more than 40 vehicle hire suppliers working with thousands of fleet operators of all sizes across the UK.

For purchasers of daily rental services such as major fleets, 1link Hire Network provides online management of daily rental, including multi-supplier quotations and subsequent booking.

For daily rental suppliers, it provides access to new customers as well as electronically validated bookings.
