Wex Europe Services’ customers will have access to 40% of UK forecourts following a fuel card acceptance agreement between Esso and BP.

The deal will see all participating BP, as well as Esso and current partner, Shell, service stations accept payment via the Esso Card fuel card.

Following discussions and agreements, the integration has been completed and the Esso Card fuel card will now be accepted at more than 3,300 sites nationwide.

To ensure that customers realise the full value of this exciting proposition, there will be no additional network, service or convenience fees for the use of this wide reaching network acceptance on a single card.

Wex Europe Services managing director, Malcolm Joyce, said: “WEX Europe Services is delighted that Esso Card cardholders will have a greater choice of forecourts following this announcement.

“Wex Europe Services is committed to developing and delivering a comprehensive service to our customers, who now have better access than ever.”
