Glass’s replaces GlassMatix with new repair estimating system

Glass’s has replaced GlassMatix with a new repair estimating system, called Repair Estimate, which promises faster calculations.

GlassMatix had become “outdated” and the technology “left little room to modernise”, according to Glass’s. The new system is web-based and tablet optimised and includes colour coded graphics, integrated valuation, technical and specification data as standard, a custom PDF report builder and XML Export functionality

Repair Estimate is part of Glass’s single online data platform, which means customers can now access all of Glass’s data sets and asset types in one place, from any PC or tablet.

Repair Estimate can also be accessed through third party systems via an integrated API that includes accident, dealer and fleet management systems or crash repair solutions, such as Minotaur Software’s Electronic Vehicle Assessment (EVA) platform.
