CMS reduces insurance claim costs with real-time crash detection

UK road deaths, road deaths 2016, killed on UK roads.

Collision Management Systems (CMS) is positioning its software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution as an essential tool for Telematics service providers looking to help fleet customers cut insurance costs.

By delivering real-time crash detection, CMS has proven to reduce claim costs by at least £1,600 per collision based on real world results independently validated by Plexus Law.

Core to CMS’s solution is the ability to automatically identify and filter out non-crash events generated by third party telematics devices or connected cameras.

This enables fleet and claims teams to monitor and act on collision alerts in real time without having to review hundreds of false alerts a day. A fully scalable solution, CMS software is already licenced, embedded and deployed by multiple telematics and connected camera companies for their customers around the world.

Rory Maher, CMS sales director, said: “Our solution really resonates with Telematics businesses whose fleet customers’ claim costs are rising despite numerous risk management initiatives. With CMS, they can cut through data noise, action claims instantly and deliver considerable cost reductions for their business."
