BCA has announced the start of a major development programme at the Nottingham remarketing and defleet centre, with the construction of a new auction lane complex.

The remarketing company says that it will add significantly to the facility’s volume and throughput.

The new building featuring two back-to-back auction lanes with central Barista bar is now under construction.  Work started immediately after Easter and the new facility will open in the autumn of this year.

BCA Nottingham will introduce a new enhanced sales programme, featuring additional sale events and specialist auctions.  With capacity for 500 vehicles undercover, BCA Nottingham will sell up to five days a week on completion of the new development.

Stuart Pearson, BCA MD UK Remarketing, saids: “We are delighted to announce that a major development programme to further improve facilities at our BCA Nottingham auction centre is now underway.

“The all-new building featuring dual back-to-back auction lanes will offer buyers an improved customer experience and an even bigger choice of stock.  Our vendor customers will enjoy more opportunities to sell their stock more frequently to the UK’s biggest buyer base.”

The 32-acre site opened in 1994 and will celebrate its 25th Anniversary in 2019.
