Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK is targeting increased registrations in the public sector after being included in the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework.

The FCA corporate fleet sales operation, which is BSI accredited, already supplies vehicles to 10 of the UK's 13 NHS ambulance trust and is looking to build further on future fleet wins of this type.

Neil McNicholl, Motability and national public sector manager, FCA UK, said: “It has been a four-year process to become part of the CCS platform and a lot of work has gone into this, so we are clearly hopeful of the growth it can deliver.

“The breadth of the current FCA Group range is key to us serving the mobility needs of a range of public services – from coach-built Ducato vans for the UK ambulance trusts, to the new Jeep Compass and Renegade for rural applications, and the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio for senior management use.

“And we also see the Fiat Tipo as a perfect fit for doctors, nurses and first responders – lots of practical space.”
